Blisswood Shoe Cabinet, 2 Flip Drawers, Grey
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Blisswood Shoe Cabinet is the cheapest of the storage cabinets compared in this guide, at £69.99, and it lands at number 10. It is a freestanding MDF unit measuring 110 cm high, 87 cm wide and 26 cm deep, with two flip-down drawers, one open drawer and an adjustable shelf. It is rated 4.2 out of 5 from 43 ratings and sits 14th in Amazon's Shoe Cabinets category.
The number worth staring at here is capacity. This cabinet claims up to 12 pairs of shoes in its two flip drawers. The £101.15 cabinet in the same guide uses the same arrangement — two flip drawers — and claims 24 to 30 pairs: between two and two and a half times the shoe count for the same type of piece. Two figures inside this listing do not quite line up either. The description bullet gives a weight of 25 kg while the specification field says 25.2 kg, and the star breakdown adds up to 100 entries against a rating count of 43 on the same page. Everything below comes from the Amazon listing as it stands, not from any testing of ours.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“This looks great in my hallway. Fairly easy to build and helps tidy up all the shoes that were chucked in a basket. The lower shelf is optional where I store my boots. I find the drawer very handy to store umbrellas and keys etc. A nice bit of kit which I'm happy with.”
Verified purchase“This is the best. Fits size 10s easily. Can decide whether or not you want partitions. At which point if you don't it will fit boots! Four pairs of ladies shoes fit easily on one shelf. It says 2 man put together but I put it up on my own. Yes there are some reviews that state you need a hammer and block. This is true.... This is the way it's designed! It makes the build more sturdy and sleek in design. Id recommend one shape tap not lots of little ones. I had no trouble with it at all and I'm a 57yo woman. Taller than expected and would definitely need to be wall attached as with shoes in it's a bit top loaded heavy. The packaging was superb. No bits or bobs missing. Instructions were extremely easy to follow. The pictures were precise. There's no adjustment to square it up like some peices out there. I did change the handles out..... That's just me. They are perfectly adequate for intention and purpose I just wanted to make it fit in with my decor. It does have 2 really good stays on the drop corners to protect it so you don't bash it when closing. A really thoughtful idea. All in all a great unit. Well worth the money. Sturdy. Slimline but has the capacity for 8 pairs shoes plus 3 pairs mens size 10 boots or depending on your chosen set up 16 pairs of ladies size 6”
