- Rank
- #6
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Vax Steam Clean Multi is the most adaptable machine in this ranking, and the listing leads with the accessory count: nine attachments covering floors plus the oven, bathroom and windows, on a detachable portable cleaner with steam control, 1300 watts, a 0.33 litre tank and a 2.1 kilogram body, in white and blue under the S85-CM model name.
Detachable is the key word again, and with nine accessories the same machine replaces several single-purpose steamers. Its listed heat time of 25 minutes is much longer than the others, which appears to be a listing error rather than a real warm-up. At the time of collection it carried 2,629 ratings at 4.2 stars. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.
How those 2,629 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.2 stars.
