Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Xiaomi Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer Pro is the machine at number 9 in this guide. It is a 9kg wash / 6kg dry appliance with a 1400 RPM direct drive motor, dual auto-dosing for detergent and softener, 14 programmes, a stainless steel drum and app control, listed at £599.00.
The detail worth stopping on is which rating the big letter belongs to. The product name reads "A-D Rated", while the energy bullet says the 25% figure is "25% better efficiency than EU Class A for washing only". So the A is a wash-cycle result, and the bullet never says what the machine is graded at when it actually dries a load. The same listing gives 4.8 out of 5 from 8 ratings, with a histogram of 81% five-star and 19% four-star — a breakdown that rounds to that 4.8, on a very small base. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from a test we ran.
How those 8 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.8 stars.

Questions people ask
Is this a washer dryer or a washing machine?
The listing describes it as a washer dryer, with a 9kg wash capacity and a 6kg dry capacity in the same drum.
What does the A-25% energy figure actually cover?
The bullet says 25% better efficiency than EU Class A "for washing only". The "A-D Rated" headline does not state which class applies to drying.
Does it dose detergent for me?
Yes. Dual Auto Dosing measures and dispenses both detergent and softener, and the dispenser is listed for detergent and fabric softener.
Can I control it from my phone?
The Xiaomi Home App lets you monitor and adjust cycles remotely, and the panel is listed as customisable with language switching and OTA updates.
How many programmes does it have?
14 washing cycles. The cycle options listed are Bedding, Delicates, Normal, Quick Wash and Wool, with a 36-minute smart wash and a 12-minute quick wash quoted in the bullets.
What warranty comes with it?
A 2 year manufacturer warranty, as listed.
