“Our down time is camping for long weekends an annual 2 week holiday. We have always taken both large and small plastic bottles of water with us, but after all the press about micro plastics we decided it was time to do things differently. I personally don’t like the taste of a well known more expensive brand of filter jug so I was a bit apprehensive about buying this one, however as it was on special and comes with 6 filters, I thought I’d give it a try. The jug is made of a clear material with a well fitting white plastic lid. We have been using the filter jug for a week now. It has been filled at least two or three times a day and we are very impressed. There is no bad taste, the appearance of the jug is nice, we have had no leakage problems, the filtration has been good, some people have reported black specks in the water, we have had none. My husband fitted the filter easily and it has stayed in place, as has the lid. I cannot report on the durability as I have only been using it for a week now, but so far so good. Hopefully it will stand the test of time so we no longer have resort to buying plastic bottles of water. With the performance so far I would buy it again.”
