Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The MAXTRA Glass is the only glass jug in this ranking, and the listing makes the material explicit: a borosilicate glass jug with a silicone sealing ring, supplied with three MAXTRA PRO ALL-IN-1 cartridges, at 830 grams, in light blue or white depending on the pack.
Glass is the answer to the objection most people have to filter jugs, which is storing drinking water in plastic. The listing quotes the included glass jug at 2.5 litres while the capacity field says 2.4 litres, the same rounding mismatch seen elsewhere in this category. At the time of collection it carried 4,594 ratings at 4.4 stars. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.
How those 4,594 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.4 stars.
