Verified purchase“We've used those for many years now, we have 3-5 guinea pigs and use 2-3 connected habitats as holiday enclosures. They are foldable and easy to clean. Older piggies found it difficult to jump the connection so we put a ramp in for them to walk between the cages. They are NOT permanent enclosures as they are much too small. But for a short period they have proven to be perfect. Also used as tiny hospital when we had to keep a piggy (+ buddy) seperate after surgery until it recovered. Basic piece of kit that belongs in every piggy owners' gear set.”
Verified purchase“This was 100% the correct choice of cage. Yes its flimsy to put together but after everything is secured its just fine, the space and optional doors are great for a pair of pigs.I use wood pellets as bedding as i found a seller that does ones which are soft on the feet (i stood on them myself and it was just fine.) Not just this but they last longer than fleece, pine shavings and aspen, and smell better too. Once peed on it dissolves into a powder which immeditately sifts down to the bottom so there are no respiratory risks here. I found fleece harboured urine smells and sawdust was too dusty for me. They live in my room so it has to be clean. Anyway the point is that wood pellets are heavy but the canvas bedding holds them with no issue at all. Its actually really well made.You may, however, need some plyers to secure the doors together or pry some more space into the connectors so the walls fit together. I would recommend the lid so you can use it as an outdoor run and it also increases the security of the cage.I love this cage, its simpler and more space efficient than any other cages i've seen, with a greater sense of security that c&c grids just don't do for me (although they're great for play runs)Love this, it's worth the cost.”
