The ones which insert into your plates are ok but over time they wear out the centre of your plates with all the movement. This one has a nice protective sleeve for your barbell, it has just slid under the corner of my power rack and I'm using it in the direction away from the handle so that the bar can go all the way down to the floor without catching it. The holder is fully 360 degrees rotatable so it is very versatile. The finish is good all over, green might not be everyone's colour but I wouldn't want to stand out trip over it so the bright colour helps. Good value great quality. Very happy.”
