The Yes4All Barbell Bomb is a rubber landmine base — the weighted dome you put on the floor so an Olympic barbell can pivot inside it for rows, presses and rotations — and it takes number 9 in this guide. At £16.28 it is the cheapest of the three rubber bases in the category, £0.71 under the DASKING at £16.99 and £2.58 under the HXD-ERGO at £18.86, and it is the one with real weight of opinion behind it: 181 ratings at 4.5 out of 5, with 73 of them five-star.
The figure that earns it a place on this page is the capacity claim. The listing gives a maximum weight capacity of 880 lb, about 399 kg, for a base that itself weighs 599 g, and that is roughly eight times the 50 kg the DASKING claims for £0.71 more. We have not tested it and cannot tell you whether 880 lb holds; the figure is the listing's own. Two smaller things on the same page do not line up. The Grip Type field says "Smooth" while the bullets promise a textured surface that prevents movement, and the Finish Type says "E-Coated", a metal treatment, on a base the same listing describes as TPR rubber and EVA foam. The star breakdown supplied with the listing also adds up to 100 ratings, not the 181 shown elsewhere on it.

Questions people ask
Does the Yes4All Barbell Bomb fit a 1-inch bar?
The bullets say it fits both 1-inch and 2-inch Olympic bars, while the product name says it fits 2-inch Olympic bars. The two parts of the listing do not say the same thing, so check your bar against the listing before ordering.
What maximum weight does the listing give?
880 lb, under Weight Capacity Maximum, which is about 399 kg. The same listing gives the item weight as 599 g and the material as TPR (rubber and EVA foam).
What is the base made of, and what is the grip like?
The material is listed as TPR (rubber and EVA foam), and the bullets describe a textured surface that prevents movement, but the Grip Type field says "Smooth". The Finish Type is given as E-Coated, a treatment normally used on metal.
How is the Yes4All Barbell Bomb rated?
4.5 out of 5 from 181 ratings. The star breakdown on the listing reads 73 five-star, 14 four-star, 8 three-star, 1 two-star and 4 one-star, which adds up to 100 ratings rather than 181.
Do I need a power rack to use it?
No. The listing says it works with power racks or as a standalone unit, and describes the compact structure as suitable for home gyms and outdoor training areas.
Where is the Yes4All Barbell Bomb made?
Country of Origin is listed as China, the manufacturer as Yes4All, and the model number as XHWX1.
