The GanFindX plyo box sits at number 5 in this guide. The Amazon listing calls it a steel plyo box and a plyometric jump box, 12 inches tall with a 17 x 13 inch surface, at £42.99 — lower than the two other prices quoted anywhere in this article, £54.03 and £68.00.
The oddity is in the copy underneath the title. All five bullet points describe something else: a 'fitness bench' for sit-ups and bench presses, an 'exercise step platform' with a thick rubber pad, easy to take down, carry and store. Not one of them mentions jumping, box jumps or plyometrics. The customer reviews follow the bullets rather than the title: buyers use it as a step for a dog to get into bed, as a single-leg step-up platform pushed against a workout cage, and for children to reach in a mobile basketball rental business — and one writes that it would be 'too small to have both feet on it'.
