Is the VASAGLE Round Dining Table 80 cm worth buying?
Yes, if one or two people eat at it every day in a small flat, and the VASAGLE Round Dining Table 80 cm costs £57.99. You get an 80 cm circle in golden oak, a 2.5 cm thick top, a steel frame that carries 100 kg and 366 owners rating it 4.6, which is more support than most tables at this price offer.
It stops being the right buy when four adults sit down together every evening. An 80 cm circle gives each of them about 63 cm of edge, so plates fit but a serving dish has to go on the hob, where a 110 x 70 cm rectangle puts 7,700 cm2 on the floor for £4 more.
Buy it as the main table for a couple, as a breakfast table in a bay window, or as a second table in a kitchen whose dining room already has a six-seater. Buy something else if it has to host the family at Christmas.
What does 80 cm actually give you in tabletop space?
An 80 cm diameter works out at roughly 5,027 cm2 of dining surface, and that is the number that decides how this table lives in your home. Divide it by the £57.99 price and you get 87 cm2 of tabletop for every pound you hand over.
That is the honest measure of the table, and it is less than half what the cheapest large table returns. A 140 x 75 cm top at £59.99 gives 10,500 cm2, which is 175 cm2 per pound, so £2 more buys twice the eating area.
What the £57.99 does buy is a thicker board than most of its rivals. The top is 2.5 cm deep, where the 140 cm table at £59.99 uses a 1.5 cm panel, and a deeper top on a pedestal frame is what stops a small table feeling like a tray on legs.
What comes in the box and how long does assembly take?
One pack arrives with the 80 x 80 x 74.8 cm table, an accessory kit and an assembly guide, and the only tool you need is a screwdriver. The parts are labelled, the screw count is deliberately low, and the build takes about 15 minutes on your own.
The whole table weighs 14.5 kg, so one person can move it across a room or up a flight of stairs without help. The C-shaped steel legs sit on a pedestal base with adjustable feet, which is what keeps it steady on a kitchen floor that slopes a few millimetres.
The golden oak surface is water-resistant and wipes clean with a cloth after a meal, so it needs no tablecloth and no polish. Everything else, the chairs included, is bought separately, and the table itself does not extend or fold.
Where does the VASAGLE Round Dining Table 80 cm fall short?
The top is the smallest of the ten tables we compared, at roughly 5,027 cm2. Four people fit at a push and only when the plates are small, so a family of four will feel the shortage on the first Sunday roast.
A circle also claims more floor than a rectangle of the same area. This one needs 80 cm of clear space in every direction, and it cannot be pushed into a corner or against a wall the way a 110 x 70 cm rectangular table can.
At 87 cm2 per pound it returns less than half the tabletop of the best value table we looked at, and the indoor-only build means it cannot live on a balcony or in a garden room. If surface area per pound is your priority, this is not the table.
VASAGLE Round Dining Table 80 cm against the bigger alternatives
Against the VASAGLE 110 cm Dining Table at £61.99, you pay £4 more and gain 2,673 cm2 of tabletop, going from 5,027 cm2 to 7,700 cm2, plus a 120 kg frame instead of 100 kg. That is the better buy for a household of four, and it is the one to take if the room has a wall to spare.
Against the Jocoevol Round Dining Table at £115.96, you save £57.97 and lose 3,963 cm2 of top plus the storage shelf that sits under it. Go for the Jocoevol if you want to stay round but seat four properly, and stay with the 80 cm VASAGLE if two people eat at it and the floor space is tight.
The 80 cm table wins on weight and footprint rather than surface: at 14.5 kg it is lighter than both, easier to move for cleaning, and small enough to sit in a corner of an open-plan kitchen without eating the walkway.

Questions people ask
How many people can sit at the VASAGLE Round Dining Table 80 cm?
It seats four at a squeeze and two comfortably. Each diner gets about 63 cm of edge on the 80 cm circle, so four works when the plates are small and a large serving dish goes elsewhere. For four daily diners, a 110 x 70 cm top is the more realistic choice.
What are the dimensions of the VASAGLE Round Dining Table 80 cm?
It measures 80 cm across and 74.8 cm high, with a tabletop 2.5 cm deep and a total weight of 14.5 kg. The round top covers roughly 5,027 cm2, and the C-shaped steel legs sit inside that footprint, so the table needs 80 cm of clear floor in every direction.
Does the VASAGLE Round Dining Table 80 cm need assembly?
Yes, and it takes about 15 minutes with a screwdriver. The parts are labelled, the frame uses fewer screws than a full flat-pack sideboard, and an accessory kit and assembly guide come in the single box. One person can build it and lift the finished 14.5 kg table into place.
Can the VASAGLE Round Dining Table 80 cm be used outdoors?
No, it is built for indoor use. The golden oak surface is water-resistant, which means a spilled drink wipes off, not that rain can sit on it. A balcony or patio table has to be a plastic-topped folding model instead.
Does the VASAGLE Round Dining Table 80 cm wobble on an uneven floor?
It should not, because the C-shaped steel legs finish in adjustable feet. Turning those feet is the fix for a kitchen floor that slopes or a tile that sits proud, and the pedestal base keeps the load central rather than on one leg.
Does the VASAGLE Round Dining Table 80 cm come with chairs?
No, the box holds the table, an accessory kit and an assembly guide. Chairs are a separate purchase, and on an 80 cm circle two armchairs or four small dining chairs fit best. Anything wider than about 45 cm starts crowding the person sitting next to it.
