Rank #7 in Best Mitre Saw 2026: 10 Ranked, and the Numbers That Don't Add Up
Lumberjack LSM-12DSA 305mm Double Bevel Mitre Saw
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Lumberjack 12 Inch Double Bevel Compound Sliding Mitre Saw with Shadow LED is ranked #7 in our best mitre saws guide. It's a corded electric saw with a 1650W motor, a 305mm blade, and a 60-tooth TCT blade included. But the numbers in the listing don't all add up.
The specification lists a wattage of 1650W and a voltage of 230V. At those figures, the saw should draw around 7.2 amps. Yet the same table lists a current rating of 13 amps. That's nearly double what the wattage and voltage imply. The listing also states a cutting angle of 50 degrees, while the bullet points claim a 50° left and 60° right mitre range. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from our own testing.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“I've had several power saws over my years of carpentry and this has to be the best saw I have ever used, without a doubt. When you get it there are some slight calibrations to do to make sure it's square. That you must do. Make sure all your angles are right; it's so simple to do. Even your angle bezel on the front, you can unscrew it and move it to make sure you've got your 45 degrees perfect. You can also do your mitre as well to make sure that is square to the bed at 45 degrees. Once it's set it's absolutely perfect. It's such a quiet slow starter, I might add, a sharp saw. The size of lumber that it cuts is phenomenal and you look at it and you think, "Right this is a beast of a saw," but when you lift it, it's lighter than a lot of others that I've had in the past. I've always stuck with powered saws because batteries are not up there yet, as far as I'm concerned, not when you have constant use. When the batteries are better maybe I can go cordless but for now this lumberjack is absolutely amazing especially for the money.”
Verified purchase“I have other Lumberjack tools and this tool is no different, well made and really good value.Mine was well set up straight out of the box, just small changes made by me.Excellent quality product and great value.”
