The Amazon Basics 5.7L takes ninth place in our air fryer ranking, and it does one thing the pricier singles mostly do not: it has a viewing window and an interior light, so you can watch food brown without pulling the drawer out and letting the heat escape. On a single-basket air fryer, where opening the drawer interrupts the cook, that is a genuinely practical touch, and at GBP 59.99 with a larger 5.7L basket it undercuts the branded singles on size for the money. It draws 1750W, reaches 200°C, has dishwasher-safe parts and eight presets.
A couple of things temper it. The listing cannot quite agree on the capacity — the main figure is 5.7 litres, but the "Size" field on the same page reads "6L" — and, as with every single here, the usable food volume is below the brim figure. The bigger caveat is evidence: with just 30 ratings it is barely reviewed, so there is almost no track record for reliability or how the window and its seal age, and its 4.4-star average sits on a handful of reviews with an unusually polarised shape. We do not reject it for that; the window and the price make it tempting, but treat it as the least proven pick here and buy it for the window feature specifically. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.

What is the point of the viewing window?
On a single-basket air fryer, opening the drawer to check food lets the heat out and interrupts the cook. The window and interior light let you watch the food brown without opening it, which is a genuinely useful touch that most cheaper singles lack.
How big is it really?
The main capacity is 5.7 litres, larger than the 4L to 4.7L singles above it, so it suits a small family rather than just a couple. Note the listing's own "Size" field says "6L", a small inconsistency, and as always the usable food layer is below the brim figure.
Is it any good?
Its reviewers are largely positive on value and ease of use, but there are very few of them — just 30 ratings — so there is little evidence yet for reliability. It is the least proven machine in this ranking, which is why it sits ninth despite the useful window and low price.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes. The basket and plate are non-stick and dishwasher safe, which is a small plus over the hand-wash-only Russell Hobbs and Hisense.

1750W, reaching 200°C. Wattage barely affects results across the machines in this ranking, so it is not a reason to choose or avoid it.
Should I buy it over a Ninja or Russell Hobbs?
Only if the window specifically appeals and you accept the thin track record. For proven reliability at a similar price, the Russell Hobbs 4L has thousands of reviews; the Amazon Basics trades that certainty for a bigger basket and the window.
