The Cuisinart 13.6L Tri Zone takes seventh place in our air fryer ranking, and it posts the biggest capacity here while proving this article's central point on its own listing. The size field reads "13.6L (5L + 4.3L + 4.3L)": the headline is spelled out as three separate baskets added together, not one enormous cavity, so no single item can be anywhere near 13.6 litres. What it buys you is cooking three things at once, and a PFAS-free ceramic interior, listed as non-stick "No" because it uses a ceramic coating rather than the conventional non-stick some buyers now avoid.
For a larger household that regularly plates several components, three genuine zones is useful, and it takes less space than three appliances. But it is a large machine, about 42 by 40 by 40 centimetres and 13.6 kg, needing the worktop of a small oven, and it draws 2400W to 230°C with a three-year guarantee. Is the Cuisinart really 13.6 litres in one space?
No, and the listing says so outright: the size is "13.6L (5L + 4.3L + 4.3L)", three separate baskets added together. You cook up to three things at once; you cannot fit a single 13.6-litre item. It is the clearest example of why the litre figure on any air fryer needs reading carefully.
What is PFAS-free and why does it matter?
PFAS are the family of chemicals used in many non-stick coatings, which some buyers now prefer to avoid. This uses a ceramic interior instead, which is why the spec table's non-stick field reads "No". It is a genuine point of difference in a market where most baskets use conventional non-stick.
Who is it for?
