The Hisense 11L Dual Zone takes eighth place in our air fryer ranking, and it stands out among the duals for how its capacity is divided. Where most twin-basket machines give two equal drawers, this pairs a 6.5L basket with a 4.5L one to make the advertised 11L, and the listing states that split plainly. The asymmetry is genuinely useful: the larger side for the bulky item, chips or a chicken, and the smaller side for a quick accompaniment, rather than two identical mediums. It comes from a major electronics brand, has a colour touch display and an automatic shut-off, and is keenly priced at GBP 79 for a large dual.
Its spec sheet is sound: 2700W, the highest wattage on the page, 230V (correctly the British value), a maximum of 200°C, and real dimensions of about 33 by 46 by 39 centimetres, though the non-stick basket is hand-wash only. The hesitation is evidence. With 91 ratings at 4.4 stars it is new and lightly reviewed, so there is little track record for how it lasts. We do not mark a product down for being new, and the asymmetric baskets are a real design advantage; against the deeply proven Ninjas at similar money, though, it is the less safe bet. How is the Hisense 11L split?
Into two unequal baskets: a 6.5L and a 4.5L, adding up to the advertised 11L. That is more useful than two equal drawers, because you get a larger side for a bulky item and a smaller side for a side dish. As with any dual, you cannot cook one 11-litre item.
Is it good value at GBP 79?
On paper, yes: a large dual with a 6.5L-plus-4.5L split, a 2700W element and a colour touchscreen for GBP 79 is a lot of air fryer. The catch is that it is new, with only 91 ratings, so it is less proven than a Ninja at similar money.
Does it use the correct UK voltage?
Yes. The spec table gives 230V, the correct British value, and 2700W, the highest wattage here. Wattage barely changes results across these machines, but the voltage being right is a good sign the listing was set up for the UK.
Is it dishwasher safe?
No. The baskets are non-stick but hand-wash only, the same trade-off as the Russell Hobbs, so factor in washing up by hand.
Why is it only eighth if the design is good?
Purely on evidence. At 91 ratings it is lightly reviewed and new, so there is little proof of long-term reliability, where the Ninja and Russell Hobbs models above it have thousands of reviews. The asymmetric baskets are a real plus if you are comfortable being an earlier buyer.
How big is it?
About 33 x 46 x 39 cm and 10.2 kg, a wide machine because the two baskets sit side by side. Make sure you have the worktop width before buying.
