Rank #6 in Best Air Fryer 2026: 10 Ranked, and Why the Litre Number Lies
Tower Vortx Vizion 9L Dual Basket Air Fryer with Digital Control
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Tower Vortx Vizion 9L takes sixth place in our air fryer ranking, and it is the way into two-zone cooking without paying Ninja money: two separate 4.5L baskets and a Sync function to finish both together, for GBP 69.99, well under half the price of the Foodi MAX. Its listing is refreshingly clear about the capacity, too — the "9L" is stated as two 4.5L baskets rather than dressed up as one big space, and its real dimensions of about 42 by 40 by 29.6 centimetres confirm the wide, side-by-side layout.
That honesty makes the trade obvious: the same two-dishes-at-once ability as the dear Ninja, each basket a normal medium size, at a fraction of the cost. It draws 2400W, reaches 200°C and its parts are dishwasher safe, though the spec table's non-stick field reads "No", so check the basket finish suits how you cook. What it lacks is the Ninja's depth of evidence: 172 ratings at 4.5 stars is well liked but far less proven, and Tower sits a rung below Ninja on reliability reputation. For many kitchens that is a fair gamble to halve the price of dual-zone cooking. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.
How those 172 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.5 stars.

Questions people ask
Is the Tower Vortx Vizion really dual-zone for GBP 70?
Yes. It has two separate 4.5L baskets, each with its own controls, and a Sync function to finish both at once, for under half the price of the Ninja Foodi MAX. It is the cheapest genuine dual-basket in this ranking.
Does the 9L give me one big space?
No, and the listing says so: it is two 4.5L baskets added together. You cannot cook a single 9-litre item; you cook two medium dishes at the same time. Each basket is a normal medium size.
What is the catch versus a Ninja?
Evidence and reputation. With 172 ratings it is far less proven than the Ninja models with thousands, and Tower ranks below Ninja on long-term reliability. The cooking ability is comparable; the track record is thinner.
Is it non-stick?
The spec table's non-stick field reads "No", which is unusual for a dual air fryer, so if a non-stick basket matters to you, check the current listing detail before buying. The parts are listed as dishwasher safe.
How big is it on the worktop?
Wide: about 42 x 40 cm, because the two baskets sit side by side. If width is tight, the vertical Ninja Double Stack gives two zones in a narrower footprint, though at nearly three times the price.
How powerful is it?
2400W, the same class as the premium duals, reaching 200°C. Wattage barely varies across this ranking, so it is not a reason to choose one machine over another.
