Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The MISFANS is the only ceramic fountain here, and the listing makes the case for the material: a 2.1 litre ceramic body with a copper spout, dishwasher safe, at 2.8 kilograms in white, under model number S001. Included are three filters, three sponges, an adapter, the fountain and a pump.
Ceramic is the heaviest option but the least likely to scratch or hold odours, and it will not be pushed around the floor by a determined cat the way a light plastic unit will. Three spare filters in the box covers the first few months of running costs. At the time of collection it carried 3,407 ratings at 4.2 stars. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.
How those 3,407 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.2 stars.
