The SanDisk Extreme 1TB is the number three card in this guide, at £157.99. That is £113 less than the 900 MB/s Lexar PLAY PRO at the top, and the two cards are not doing the same job: the Lexar's 900 MB/s applies only in a microSD Express slot, while this SanDisk is a UHS-I card — the listing's own Model Name reads "UHS I" — running at UHS-I speeds in a console, camera or drone.

The SanDisk Extreme 1TB is also where this guide's problem appears twice on one page. One bullet promises "Up to 130MB/s write speeds for fast shooting"; the spec table on the same listing gives "Media Speed: 20 megabytes_per_second". Write speed is what a camera, drone or handheld actually lives with, and this listing carries both a 130 MB/s claim and a 20 MB/s figure without reconciling them. The 190 MB/s read figure comes with its own condition in the next bullet: maximum speeds need the SanDisk Professional PRO-READER SD and microSD, which is sold separately. Everything on this page — price, specs, rating and review counts — is taken from the Amazon listing for this card, not from testing we carried out.
