Rank #1 in Best 20000mAh Power Bank: 10 Ranked by Real Charge Counts
Anker 20,000mAh Power Bank with Built-in USB-C Cable
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Anker Power Bank, 20,000mAh Travel Essential takes first place in this guide at £39.98, rated 4.6 from 9,763 reviews, 80% of which are five-star. It is also the one bank here whose weight figure survives contact with its capacity: the listing gives 439.4g, which is what a 20,000mAh pack and its housing should weigh - not the 40g another listing in this guide claims for the same capacity.
That does not mean the spec block is clean. The same listing claims 87W of output, then gives 5V and 3.25A in its voltage and amperage fields (16.25W) and 1A in a separate output current field (5W). It also answers "No" to both "Portable" and "Is Product Cordless", which reads oddly on a travel power bank. Two numbers do agree with the copy: the 1.5-hour recharge time and the 50%-in-40-minutes figure appear in both the bullets and the spec table. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing for this model, not from testing we carried out.
How those 9,763 ratings break down
