It sells for £74.99, carries a 4.2 out of 5 rating from 33 Amazon ratings, and takes seventh place in this guide. On paper it is one of the better-specified devices here: an Amlogic S905Y4-B quad-core Cortex-A55 processor at 2.0GHz quoted at 22000 DMIPS, 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 16GB of eMMC ROM, 4K HDR10+ with Dolby Audio, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, USB-C and a voice remote with Assistant and Chromecast built in.
It sits at seven rather than higher for the same reason the rest of this guide exists: the specification fields do not agree with the product they describe. This is sold as a stick, and buyers write about it as a stick, but the listing's own dimensions row reads 15L x 15W x 2.5H centimetres and the weight row reads 170 g, and the Box Contents row says 'Set-top Box'. The title says Android TV; the Product Features row says 'Google tv'. That same row spells Netflix as 'Netflicks', and a 'Maximum Number of Supported Devices' row gives 2 without saying 2 of what. None of this says the hardware is poor — it says these fields are filled in loosely. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from our own testing.

This has allowed me to stretch many more years from the ageing TV. Great wee bit of kit, can be powered from USB, so no additional plug point required. It runs on android, and feels like other devices such as Shield, etc. The user interface and apps are really fast (changing menus etc) . It comes feature rich with an array of entertainment apps, and support's all the usual (YouTube, netflix etc) It is definitely better than I expected for the cost, and got an even better deal from an Amazon offer.
