Rank #2 in Best 50 Inch 4K TV 2026: 10 Ranked, and Where the Specs Argue With Themselves
Hisense 50E6QTUK 50-Inch 4K Smart AI TV
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Hisense 50E6QTUK is the 50-inch 4K smart TV sitting at number two in this guide, listed at £279.00 with 4.5 stars from 2,310 ratings — the biggest number of ratings behind any score in the top three. Unlike the £238.98 set above it, this listing does not contradict its own numbers: the refresh rate appears in two separate fields and reads 60 Hz both times, and the brightness is stated once, at 400 nit.
What this listing does instead is go vague. The contrast ratio is given as "High" with no figure behind it, the motion enhancement technology field says only "True", and the audio input field reads "HDMI, USB, Bluetooth", none of which is an audio input. The bullet copy describes "our direct lit full array TV's", while the backlight spec field says only "LED". Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing as it stands, not from any testing we have carried out.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“The TV is a Hisense 43e6qtuk. 1. Being a modern good value flat screen TV, I wasn't expecting much from the sound. It's no booming sound system, but perfectly acceptable for watching TV & movies. 2. The picture. Whilst everything is very clear & sharp, I did find the picture quite dark initially, fine at night but not great in daylight. But a little bit of research led me to know, due to UK power consumption regulations, lots of power saving modes are switched on. Accessing these in settings, & turning them off improved the picture immensely. Overall for the money spent I'm very pleased with my new TV. My only complaint is that it didn't come set up like this out of the box.”
Verified purchase“Love it! So easy to set up and understand. Lots and LOTS of free programmes and channels. Remote easy to work . For the price can't go wrong .Fantastic picture from my Ariel. Just love it!”
