The Acer UT300 is a dual-connector USB flash drive with USB-C on one end and USB-A on the other, and this page covers the 64 GB version, the one that finished third in our look at 64 GB flash drives. Acer sells the UT300 in eight capacities from 8 GB to 1 TB, and the listing describes a navy aluminium alloy body weighing 10 g, backed by a five-year limited warranty.

It takes third place because of what its own specification table does with speed. The listing gives a Read Speed of 150 Megabytes Per Second and a Write Speed of 150. Same number, and the write figure arrives with no unit attached to it. On a USB flash drive, writing as fast as it reads does not happen, so the write field has been filled in with the read figure. The title calls the drive USB 3.0 while the spec sheet calls the interface USB 3.2 Gen 1, which is the same 5 Gbps connection under two names — that is a naming inconsistency, not a false number. The speed fields are the problem. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from any test we ran.
