The page never explains how 35N and 2,000 g relate, or which of the two is meant to describe the weight of phone the vent clip can actually carry. Both numbers are the seller's, and neither is converted into the other.

No. The listing says it is exclusive for MagSafe iPhones, naming the 12 series through the 17 series, and for MagSafe cases. It says no metal plate is needed because the phone goes straight onto the mount.
