The Numark Mixtrack Pro FX is a two-deck controller for Serato DJ Lite, which comes included. The listing describes large 6-inch capacitive-touch jog wheels, a built-in 24-bit audio interface, plug-and-play USB for Mac and Windows, six quick-launch effects with dual paddle triggers, eight performance pads per deck, and a mixer section with 3-band EQ, filter knobs, channel faders and a crossfader. It sits at number two in this guide at £175.00, rated 4.4 out of 5 from 4,858 ratings.
What holds it at second rather than first is not the feature list but what the specification table says about itself. Under Power Source the listing reads "USB bus power". A few lines later, under Voltage, it reads "120 Volts". A controller that takes its current from a USB port draws 5 volts from that port, so those two fields cannot both describe the same unit as sold, and nothing else on the page says which one applies. Every figure on this page is copied from the Amazon listing as it stands; we have not plugged this controller in or tested it ourselves.
