Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Holy Stone HS290 costs £50.99 and is rated 3.9 stars from 4,652 ratings, with 15 per cent one-star — the worst share in this ranking.
It takes fifth because it is cheap, light and genuinely beginner-friendly, but it films in 1080p rather than 4K and its own age field says youth, which is where a large share of its buyers probably belonged.

An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 3.9 stars.

At 128g, no pilot certificate is needed in the open category.
Why is it fifth?
Because the price and the sample are real, but a 15 per cent one-star share is the highest here.
How many ratings does it have?
4652 at the time of collection, averaging 3.9 stars, with 55 per cent five-star and 15 per cent one-star.
