The Alesis Nitro Ultimate is a nine-piece electronic drum kit with mesh heads, a stand-mounted movable hi-hat controller, three 10-inch dual-zone cymbals with choke, and a module with Bluetooth and BFD drum sounds. It sits at number 9 in this guide at £666.00, with 4.2 out of 5 from 35 ratings and a Best Sellers Rank of 59 in Amazon's Electronic Drums chart.
The kit's own listing is where the numbers stop agreeing. The Item Highlight promises a 10-inch snare and 8-inch toms. The Included Components list underneath names a 10-inch tom-tom, an 8-inch tom-tom and a 6-inch tom-tom, a subwoofer no other kit in this round-up mentions, and no snare pad at all. On ratings it also runs against the cheaper Alesis Nitro Max at £345, which carries 2,709 ratings and sits 1st in the same Electronic Drums chart. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing for the Nitro Ultimate — price, rating, rank, specification and review text — and not from any testing we carried out.
