The Canon EOS R6 Mark III Body is third in this guide at £1,929.00, with a score of 4.7 out of 5 shown alongside 87 ratings. The headline numbers hold together: a 32.5MP full-frame CMOS sensor with a DIGIC X processor, stills up to 40 fps with 20 frames of pre-continuous shooting, and in-body stabilisation quoted at up to 8.5 stops of shake correction at the centre of the frame and 7.5 stops at the periphery, plus dual card slots — one CFexpress Type B and one UHS II SD.

Where the listing gets wobbly is in the fields around those figures. The same spec table that describes a 32.5MP full-frame body also lists a form factor of "DSLR", a shooting mode of "Movie" alone, and a "rear webcam resolution" of 32.5MP — the stills number repeated under a different label. The rating has two different totals as well: the listing states 87 ratings, while the star breakdown beside it adds up to 100 votes (89 five-star, 5 four-star, 6 one-star), which averages 4.71. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing and its own spec table rather than from any testing on our part, so none of the figures here are our own measurements.

What buyers actually say

Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon

“The stills picture quality from this camera are amazing. Probably more features and programs than most will ever use. Worth investing in a CF express card type B especially if you are going to shoot in RAW mode. Overall a top notch performer.”

“Great. The 40fps is insane! Upgrading from the EOS RP. Out for wildlife or action, you're ready! Recommended. R7 mii was out for release, or was, but it didn't come out. This was the next best thing. But R7 mii is APSC so if you're doing landscape, this is better. For all photographers this camera is a video POWERHOUSE! And has log format for editing for all purposes. R7 mii is good for anything but wide shots, so if you're doing any landscape or street photography or wide angle architecture, this is the camera for you! Hybrid is where it's at. If you're doing videography mostly get the R6V.”
