Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The G305 is the affordable wireless entry here and the listing is specific about the trade: a 6 button LIGHTSPEED wireless mouse with a quoted 250 hour battery life from a single cell, a 12,000 DPI sensor and a 99 gram weight, in black plastic, compatible with Chromebook, Mac and PC.
250 hours from one battery is the figure that makes wireless practical at this price: it means changing a cell a few times a year rather than recharging weekly. LIGHTSPEED is Logitech's own low-latency link, which is what keeps a budget wireless mouse viable for gaming. At the time of collection it carried 23,902 ratings at 4.6 stars. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.

An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.6 stars.
