The TAKENJOY GM7 is an eighth-placed entry in this guide: a rechargeable golf rangefinder sold under the TAKENJOY brand (manufacturer listed as VISTAGET) at £89.99. The listing claims a 1200-yard measuring range, 7x maximum magnification, slope adjustment and flag locking, and it carries a 4.7 out of 5 rating from 64 ratings.
The number worth stopping on is weight. Five of the eight spec tables in this guide put a rangefinder between 168 g and 181 g, roughly what a pocket laser unit should weigh. The GM7's table says 508 g, which makes it the heaviest of the three listings that break ranks. Its own customer reviews push the other way: one describes the unit as light in the hand, and another says it is noticeably larger than similar products. Both can be true of a bulky body, but 508 g is not a pocket weight. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing and its reviews, not from any testing of our own.
