Rank #2 in Best Kids Headphones: 9 Ranked, and the Battery Claims That Don't Add Up
iClever BTH12 Kids Headphones Wireless, LED, 74/85dB
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The iClever BTH12 is the second entry in our best kids' headphones guide: an over-ear Bluetooth headset with LED lights on both earcups, a built-in microphone, USB-C charging and a volume limiter, listed at £19.99 with 4.6 out of 5 from 14,715 ratings. iClever gives an age range of 3-15 years and puts a 3.5mm AUX cable in the box alongside the charging cable.
The reason it gets its own page is the gap between the headline and the detail. The product title promises 55H of playtime; the third bullet in the same listing promises 85 Hours. Those two numbers, in the same advert, are 30 hours apart. The volume figures repeat the pattern in miniature: the title says 74/85/94dB, while the bullet describing the limiter mentions only 74 or 85 dBA. And the technical fields label the BTH12 "Kids Earbuds" even though the ear placement, form factor and earpiece shape fields all say Over Ear. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing; none of it comes from testing we carried out.
How those 14,715 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.6 stars.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“Purchased a while back and very impressed been 'loved' by a 3 now 5 year old and they have held up very well. Between little hands pulling them and ending up in the bottom of bags they are still going strong. They connect well to tablets and phone and they sound is clear. The colour lights on the side are great and have a few patterns to pick from. Absolutely would recommend.”
