The 'Warm Tip' bullet states plainly that the AD310 'is not a full-system diagnostic scanner' and does not support ABS, SRS, airbag, EPB, service reset or battery registration. That is the trade the 64,319 ratings are buying: engine codes, quickly and cheaply, and nothing beyond them.
The listing is specific where it counts. It says the AD310 supports all OBDII protocols, naming KWP2000, J1850 VPW, ISO9141, J1850 PWM and CAN, and describes reading and clearing engine trouble codes 'in seconds' down a 2.5 ft cable. Two entries in the spec table sit oddly beside that description: 'Operating System: Windows 7' and 'Power Source: Corded Electric'.
