The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max Plus takes tenth place in our portable power station ranking, and it is the top of the range rather than a low finish: 2048Wh of capacity, a 3000W output with a 6000W surge, and expansion to 10kWh with extra batteries, which makes it genuine whole-home backup. At GBP 1,399 and 23.4 kg it is the most expensive and heaviest station here, aimed at running a fridge, Wi-Fi and heating essentials through a multi-day outage rather than a camping trip; its reviewers buy it with exactly the winter power cut in mind. It carries a five-year warranty and a 4.4-star average.
Even at this price, the listing runs on the same petrol-generator template as the cheap stations. It lists a "Fuel Type" and "Power Source" of Solar, an "Ignition System Type" of Electronic, an "Engine Power Maximum" and a "Starting Wattage: 6000 Watts" — the surge figure sitting in a generator field on a device with no engine to start. And once again the number that defines the product, its 2048Wh capacity, is only in the title, not the specification table, which lists the 3000W output but no energy figure at all. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.

What can the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max Plus run?
A lot. Its 3000W output (6000W surge) runs high-draw appliances that defeat smaller stations, including things with heating elements for a while, and its 2048Wh capacity holds enough to keep a fridge, Wi-Fi and lights going for a day or more. With extra batteries it expands to 10kWh, into genuine whole-home backup territory.
Is it worth GBP 1,399?
It is the most expensive station on this page, and it is aimed at people who want real multi-day backup or off-grid power rather than a camping top-up. If you only need to charge devices or run a few things briefly, the cheaper stations higher in the ranking are far better value; if you want whole-home resilience, this is built for it.
How much does it store and why is that not on the spec sheet?
It stores 2048 watt-hours, but that figure appears only in the product title; the specification table lists the 3000W output and no capacity at all. It is the same pattern as the other stations here, where the defining energy figure is left out of the technical detail.
Why does the spec sheet mention an ignition and an engine?
Because the listing uses a petrol-generator template, even at this price. The "Ignition System Type", "Engine Power Maximum" and "Starting Wattage" fields do not apply to a battery. The "Starting Wattage: 6000 Watts" is really the surge output.
Can it be expanded?
Yes. The listing says it expands to 10kWh with additional batteries, so you can start with the 2048Wh unit and add capacity later for longer backup, which is a large part of why it sits at the top of the range.
How portable is it?
Barely. At 23.4 kg it is the heaviest station in this ranking and really a fixed installation you wheel or place once, not something you carry about. For portability, choose one of the lighter units higher up.
