The ASUS GeForce RTX 5070 Ti PRIME 16GB GDDR7 OC is the second card in this guide and the middle of the three prices: £1,099.99, which is exactly £100.00 more than the cheapest card here and £126.98 less than the dearest. It is a 16GB GDDR7 RTX 5070 Ti, the same core hardware as every other card in the round-up — so on the listing's evidence the extra £100 buys a 3.125-slot triple-fan cooler, military-grade components and a protective PCB coating, not more memory or a different chip.

The listing's own numbers do not agree with each other. The bullets advertise a boost clock of 2610MHz in OC mode and 2588MHz in default mode, while the spec table below lists a GPU clock speed of 2497 MHz — and then repeats that same 2497 MHz as the memory clock speed. The bullets describe a 3.125-slot card; the graphics description field calls it a 2.5-slot design. The compatible-devices field lists Desktop and Laptop, which sits oddly next to a three-fan card of that thickness. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from any testing of our own.

“After doing a huge amount of research into graphics cards over £600, including the RTX 9070 XT from AMD, I finally bought this Asus Prime 5070 Ti OC for £740 direct from Amazon at the start of September for my Minisforum UM780 XTX mini-PC. In a nutshell, this card has been fabulous, returning superb frame rates at both 1440 and 4K without applying any DLSS and at very high quality graphics settings. When I have applied DLSS in games that support it, I been staggered at just how smoothly things run.In order to use this card with my mini-PC, I connected it to a Minisforum DEG1 oculink graphics card station (superb kit) with a Coolermaster 1050 watt power supply and the DEG1 then connects to my mini-PC via an oculink cable (supplied with the DEG1) to create a solid, high bandwidth, 64Gbit oculink connection. The whole setup is incredibly quiet as the power supply fan only turns on momentarily at startup (which is why I bought it for this quiet PC setup) and the RTX 5070 Ti OC fans are either off or spinning very slowly and inaudibly in most games using the silent BIOS setting. There are occasions when the fans noticebly ramp up the speed and get fairly loud in something demanding but then drop down very soon after and purr away quietly.I was considering holding on for an RTX 5070 Ti Super with 24GB RAM, which was the talk of the town on YouTube etc. recently, but the wait was far too long and the benefits of the extra 8GB RAM would rarely be seen in my setup with the games I play. The scalpers will no doubt drive the price of those cards through the roof anyway when they are released next year some time in Q1 or Q2.BTW, the lowest I've seen Amazon themselves sell this particular card is £720 and that was a week or so after I bought mine for £740.Highly recommended!”

“I love this GPU I'm so glad I took the plunge and bought it. It runs pretty cool under load and is fairly quiet in operation. Easy to install and is really fast. In 1440p it's performance is incredible and with games that support frame generation even the most challenging games run slky smooth with high frame rates. I paid more than MRSP but considering how good it is I'd call it good value for money. All in all a great purchase.”
