Verified purchase“We got this to provide continuous power to the modem and main wifi mesh unit during an electrical rewire so that I could work from home. We've also plugged the virgin TV box and TV itself into the surge protection side.I like the user replaceable battery, but I wish this was line interactive too, sadly it's standby only. My understanding is this negatively affects battery life longevity but the replaceable nature partly helps with peace of mind.It looks like a massive hunk of plastic but it's out of the way behind the TV. Very reassuringly heavy and relatively quiet.When running on the battery there is no siren unlike our other model. It does make a subtle click when switching between AC and battery but otherwise silent. Just something to be aware of if you need to be aware of its power supply. I believe you can connect it to fancy internet features though possibly, as it has a LAN / Ethernet point. We're not using it for anything other than plugs though.”

I've tried other brands, but they are just not good enough for me.This is easy for non-technical people to install and use, has plenty of sockets and just works. As a bonus, because the battery orientation is different, it takes way less floor space, so is less of a hazard.”
