The Kryptonite Kryptolok Standard U-lock with 4-foot Flex Cable takes #3 in this guide at £38.75. It is the dearer of the two Kryptonite locks here, and it is the one whose Anti-Theft Protection Offer is quoted in sterling: the bullet reads 'Optional ATPO - £1,000', while the £18.03 Combo U-lock in the same guide quotes that same Kryptonite programme as 'up to $500'. The listing carries 4.5 out of 5 from 6,017 ratings, Sold Secure Bicycle Gold certification, and Kryptonite's own score of 6/10 on its security scale. Best Sellers Rank is given as 4 in Cycling U-Locks.
The ad is also loose about what is actually in the box. The title says 'w/4-foot Flex Cable' and a bullet says 'Complete solution with U-lock and cable', yet the specification fields read Number of Pieces: 1 and Included Components: Locks. No key count appears anywhere in the listing, and a few fields look like placeholders: Controller Type is 'Hand Control', Manufacturer is 'MDSL4' and Unit Count is '1 unité'.
Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from testing we carried out, so the certification, the security score and the offer amount are the seller's claims rather than our own measurements.
