The Samsung 98 Inch Neo QLED 4K QN93F with Mini LED is the fifth entry in our guide to the biggest televisions you can buy, and at £3,999.00 it is priced as a flagship. Note the size on the listing: 98 inches, not a round 100. It carries 4.5 out of 5 from 63 ratings, and its case rests on Mini LED backlighting, a glare-free coating, a 4K AI processor and Dolby Atmos with Object Tracking Sound+ across eight speakers.

The reason it sits at five rather than higher is a disagreement inside its own listing. One bullet promises "AI Motion Enhancer Pro and Motion Xcelerator 165Hz". The specification table on the same page says "Refresh Rate: 120 Hz" and, in a separate field, "Display Refresh Rate in Hertz: 120". Two different numbers, one product, and nothing to say which part of the set each one describes. The same table also lists an aspect ratio of 21:9 on a 4K television, which is not the shape a 98-inch 4K panel normally takes. Everything below is taken from the Amazon listing — the spec fields, the marketing bullets and the customer reviews — and not from any test of our own.

What buyers actually say

Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon

Verified purchase

“The anti glare works like a dream, I have switched off the AI boost, set Standard Picture and reduced the brightness to 40 the picture is perfect for my taste. The AI boost tends to over saturate and over sharpen the image to the point where it starts to look false and too much, reign it back and images look natural with outstanding detail. I have a window directly opposite the TV, it was the bane of my life with previous sets, the anti glare on this set makes it disappear, and is something I would look for on any other replacement set in the future. This model also handles the normally clumsy Tizen operating system much smoother and with less effort than the more basic Samsung models.”

Questions people ask

Does the Samsung QN93F run at 165Hz?

The listing does not settle this. A bullet promises "AI Motion Enhancer Pro and Motion Xcelerator 165Hz", while the spec table on the same page says "Refresh Rate: 120 Hz" and "Display Refresh Rate in Hertz: 120".

How many HDMI ports does the Samsung QN93F have?

Four. The listing's "Total HDMI Port" field says 4, and HDMI is also given as the network connectivity, signal format and hardware interface.

What sound does the Samsung 98 Inch QN93F offer?

The listing describes Dolby Atmos with Object Tracking Sound+ and "8-speaker sound that moves with the action".

Which HDR formats does the Samsung QN93F support?

The spec table lists "HDR Format Supported: HDR10". A bullet separately describes "Neo Quantum HDR+ with Mini LEDs, now Glare Free", which is the wording used in the marketing rather than in the format field.

Is the Samsung 98 Inch QN93F suitable for a room with a window opposite?

Samsung's own wording is "Neo Quantum HDR+ with Mini LEDs, now Glare Free", and the product features list repeats the glare-free claim. The listing gives no measured reflection figure to go with it.

How much does the Samsung 98 Inch Neo QLED QN93F cost?

£3,999.00, as listed.
