Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The TCL 98C6K-UK is the 98-inch QD-Mini LED set at number four in this guide. The listing price is £1,849.99, the rating is 4.4 out of 5, and the spec table describes a 4K panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate, Motion Clarity Pro, Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos through a 2.1 Onkyo sound system. TCL's own copy adds that the 85-inch and 98-inch models come with a special matte screen finishing, which it calls a Matte HVA Panel — on a screen this size, in a room with windows, that is the detail worth knowing.
Where the same listing stops agreeing with itself is the dimensions field. Under "Item Dimensions D x W x H" it reads 42D x 21.8W x 12.9H centimetres, in the same table that gives Screen Size as 98 Inches and Size as 98 Inch. A width of 21.8 centimetres cannot describe a 98-inch television, so at least one of those two fields is wrong. The weights give two answers as well — 73.8 kg for Item Weight against 51.8 kg for Item Weight Without Stand, a 22 kg gap. And the star breakdown runs to 100 ratings, 69 of them five-star, averaging 4.4, while the listing states 25 ratings. Everything here is taken from the Amazon listing as published; none of it is a measurement or a test of our own.
How those 25 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.4 stars.
