Great gift and the price was good as I didnt want to go overboard incase he wasnt that interested. The prints he has done are really cute. Verified purchase“It is incredible piece of machinery doing exactly as described (I bought it as a Christmas present for someone), but do be careful about the yellow adhesive paper, as it's extremely tedious, yet essential, and delicate material, to put over the "black board" (unsure of the official name for it). Obviously when it comes to products, it's all about how you take care of them as well, so eventually, you will have to clean the nozzle using the pin provided in the packet. My only advice is to clean both the nozzle, and the "little platform" after each use. If you do print without the adhesive paper, then it will work for a bit, but gradually, the filament from the nozzle will immediately end up doing curls because it's struggling to find anything to stick onto. Also, do not create any files on the mircoSD card as the machine will not read it. If you are going to print a 3D hollow model, then use UltiMaker Cura (be warned, though, that it will ask to change the file type, otherwise you're good to go).With all that being said, it's worth the price! And very useful for wanting to understand 3D printing for a beginner.”
