The soundcore NEBULA X1 is a triple-laser 4K projector with Dolby Vision, listed at £1,698.96 and rated 4.4 out of 5 across 97 Amazon ratings. It takes first place in this guide, and it is also the clearest example of the problem the guide is about: one listing, two different contrast figures. The product bullet describes a 6-blade iris delivering a native contrast ratio of 5,000:1, which NebulaMaster then enhances to 56,000:1. The specification table prints 56000:1 on its own, with no mention of the 5,000:1 native figure sitting further up the same page. That is roughly an 11x difference contained inside a single advert.

Other numbers in the listing deserve the same care. Brightness is quoted as 3,500 ANSI lumens in the bullet, and the spec table carries it twice - once as 'Brightness: 3500 lumen', once as 'Projector Maximum White Brightness: 3500 ANSI Lumens' - so at least those two agree. The keystone field, however, is measured in centimetres, which is a length rather than a correction angle. Elsewhere the listing is unusually complete: a motorised 0.9-1.5 short-to-long throw optical zoom, throw distances from 1.69 to 4.78 metres, a 300-inch maximum image size, a 30,000-hour average life span and a claimed noise figure under 26 dB.

Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing for this projector. We have not measured it, tested it or seen it running.
