XGIMI Horizon 20 4K RGB Triple Laser Projector
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The XGIMI Horizon 20 sits at number 4 in this guide. It is a 4K RGB triple-laser projector listed at £1,499.00, with a rating of 4.2 out of 5 from 46 ratings — and a breakdown where 65 entries are five-star against ten at one or two stars. The advert describes IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Filmmaker Mode, Harman Kardon speakers, built-in Google TV and an integrated stand in the box.
The reason it lands here is what happened when its own numbers were lined up against each other. One spec field states 3200 ISO Lumen and another states 3200 ANSI Lumens. ISO lumens and ANSI lumens are different measurement standards, and the identical 3,200 has been printed in both fields — so at least one of those two entries is not the measured figure. The contrast claim holds together better: the bullet text and the spec table both say 20,000:1. Two other fields carry the wrong kind of number altogether. Vertical keystone correction is given as 12 centimetres, which is a length, not a correction angle, and "Network Connectivity Technology" reads HDMI, which is a cable, not a network. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing as published, not from testing by us.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“When you pay this amount for something you really pray that you'll be happy with it. Thank God I am! Excellent picture quality as expected, quiet, auto keystone feature useful for setting up, manual method very neat and great for a more fixed location when you can turn off the auto which could then reset it all! I use it off-centre by a couple of feet to keep the unit out of the way. Extensive settings for controlling just about everything. No native BBC iPlayer support (usual story!) but ok for Netflix/Prime etc. over WiFi works fine too. Don't notice any laser or rainbow artifacts unless you really look, normal viewing I can't detect it even on a 20 year old Beomax screen. Bought a new 10m 'optical' HDMI cable to hide the wires for broadcast TV, older cable didn't work for 4K. Also a 10m optical sp/dif for audio back to amp for films via USB drive. All in all very happy. Unit is well designed, looks good in a kind of retro design and the remote control is also responsive and classy, important!”
Verified purchase“Wow what an upgrade from a 100 pound projector but it is expensive. Word of warning if you cant control the light in your room you will need something brighter. We have blackout blinds. So in full daylight you can jist about see the screen. At 50percent daylight it's as good as a tv. Caveats you will need a screen to project onto and you will need to control the light in the room. The projector itself for the voice has everything you need I project in a controlled light room at 15ft to a size of 180inches and it's bright enough to see in 50percent daylight. Hope that helps”
