The PreSonus Studio 24c is a bus-powered USB-C audio interface with two XMAX-L mic preamps, two instrument inputs and a software bundle. At £125.75 it sits second in our guide to audio interfaces, with a 4.6 out of 5 rating built on 4,514 Amazon ratings. The reason it lands here rather than higher is the state of its own spec table: the field labelled "Frequency Response" reads 192 KHz, and the field directly below it, "Maximum Sample Rate", reads 192 KHz as well. One figure is doing two jobs, and the frequency response field therefore tells you nothing the sample rate field has not already said.

Not every number in this listing falls apart. "Number of Channels: 2" agrees with the marketing copy, which promises two XMAX-L mic preamps — unlike some interfaces in this guide whose channel count contradicts their own product name. The software field is where the listing trips over itself instead: the product title and the fourth bullet both promise Studio One Artist, but the "Supported Software" field names only "Ableton Live Lite, DAW", while yet another field, "Included Components", does list Studio One Artist DAW. The same listing also carries three different UPCs and gives Germany as the country of origin. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing itself — we have not tested the Studio 24c.
