Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The ROVE is the most reviewed car camera in this ranking by a wide margin, and its listing is unusually plain about what you get: a front camera at 4K 3840 by 2160 and a rear unit, a 3 inch IPS display, a 170 degree field of view and a 32GB card included in the box. WiFi app control, a 24-hour parking mode and what the listing calls reliable accident recording are named as well.
Including the card matters more than it sounds, because a dash cam that writes 4K needs a high-endurance card and one is easy to forget at checkout. The model number is given as K-974 and the unit weighs 350 grams. At the time of collection it carried 36,603 ratings at 4.3 stars. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.
How those 36,583 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.3 stars.
