The Pyle Full Size Electric Guitar Kit is seventh in our guide to electric guitar starter bundles, at £143.99, with a 4.2 rating from 941 ratings. Unlike most of the kits on this page, it does state its amplifier output: 10W, listed under Included Components. That places it between the 3W amp shipped with the £116.99 kit and the 40W amp shipped with the £119.99 kit — about £27 more than the first for a little over three times the rated power, and about £24 more than the second for a quarter of it. It is also one of the few bundles here where the wattage is written down at all rather than left to the name on the front of the amp.
The second number worth checking is length. Pyle describes a full size 99 cm electric guitar, and it repeats the claim in the product title. On the same listing, a buyer returned theirs because it was not the full size they had wanted for their daughter. Two smaller inconsistencies sit alongside it: the star breakdown adds up to 100, while the listing reports 941 ratings, and the specifications say Number of Items: 1 for a kit that names eight separate components in the box. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing for this kit — we have not played or measured it.

An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.2 stars.

Questions people ask
Does the Pyle kit come with an amplifier?
Yes. The Pyle Prog Rock EG Series kit lists a 10W guitar amplifier in its Included Components, along with a travel/storage bag, a 1/4 inch audio connection cable, replacement strings, a detachable shoulder strap, a pitch pipe tuner and 3 picks.
How many watts is the Pyle amplifier?
10W. The listing quotes no speaker size, and no other output figure appears anywhere in the specification.
Is the Pyle guitar full size?
The listing calls it a full size 99 cm electric guitar. A reviewer on that listing returned theirs because it was not the full size they wanted for their daughter, so the two claims sit awkwardly together.
What is the body made of?
Pyle lists solid paulownia wood with a matte finish, black tuners and a pick guard.
What pickups does the Pyle guitar have?
Dual humbuckers, with pickup selectors and rotary knobs for tone and volume control.
Is there a warranty on the Pyle kit?
The listing states a 1 year warranty.
