I will admit... it is easy to be tempted to chase the latest and greatest model released - more resolution, higher FPS, additional features... but for my needs, having fast glass was the priority. Having said all that, this body is no slouch... not by a long shot. The low light performance is incredible. The IBS is a game changer. The AF utilizes both phase detection & contrast to provide lightning fast performance. The flexibility in exposure metering is fantastic. The smaller size may be problematic for some but is easily resolved with a cage. I appreciate the lighter / smaller form factor as it allows use on more affordable gimbals. If you are considering this camera, you likely know what you need and all the specs. Pros may not like that it doesn't have dual card slots (for redundancy). If you can rent or borrow one... try it out... I think you will be impressed.”
