Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The hohem iSteady M6 Kit is a three-axis smartphone gimbal at £146.30, sixth in this guide, with a 4.4 out of 5 average drawn from 1,587 ratings. In a guide where two of the biggest names quote battery hours that their own listings then argue about, this one quotes none at all. The spec table gives a max payload of 400 g, an item weight of 551 g, a folded size of 1.06 x 3.27 x 5.85 inches and a best sellers rank of 34 in Mobile Phone Handheld Gimbals & Stabilisers - and no hours figure anywhere. The only battery number attached to this product comes from a buyer, not from hohem: one reviewer puts it at about 8 hours of moderate use.
Two other things on the listing are worth reading before you buy. The colour field says Pink, and nothing in the product name or the five bullets mentions a colour at all. And the spec sheet answers "No" to audio recording while listing MP4 as the file format - worth knowing if you plan to capture sound as well as picture. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing for this product, not from any testing we carried out.
How those 1,587 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.4 stars.
