The ASUS Vivobook 16 costs £729.99 and carries the newest chip in this article — but the page never says i7, because Intel now calls it a Core 7 150U. It has the biggest screen here, 16 inches at 1920 by 1200, and a terabyte of storage.
Its i7-class processor is the same family as the other four, and the listing describes it as a 10-core part running to 5.4 GHz. Against that, seventeen per cent of its buyers give it one star — the worst share in this ranking.

Is a Core 7 the same as an i7?
Yes in practice. Intel renamed this class of processor, so the Core 7 150U is the successor to the i7-1355U, and this page never uses the word i7.
Why is it not first with the newest chip?
Because of its record: seventeen per cent of eighty buyers gave it one star, the worst tail in this article, against no one-star reviews at all for the Acer.
Is the screen really 16 inches?
Yes, 16 inches at 1920 by 1200 in a 16:10 ratio, the largest and tallest display in this ranking.
Does it have an HDMI port?
Yes, and it is the only laptop here with a full-size HDMI output listed in the specification.
Why does the same model cost less elsewhere?
The identical Vivobook 16 is listed in the same search results at £686.58 with an i9-13900H, a faster processor, and neither page explains the difference.
How many ratings does it have?
80 at the time of collection, averaging 3.9 stars, with 58 per cent five-star and 17 per cent one-star.
