The Puro Sound Labs PuroQuiet Plus is the eighth pick in this guide. It is listed at £95.00 in purple, rated 4.2 out of 5 from 262 reviews, and it is the ANC model here: an active noise-cancelling switch sits alongside an 85 dB volume ceiling.
The listing is a good illustration of why the numbers deserve a second read. The product title calls the PuroQuiet Plus an "In Ear" headphone, but three separate fields in the specification table — Headphones Ear Placement, Headphone Form Factor and Earpiece Shape — all read "On Ear". A headphone cannot be both, and the spec table is the more precise of the two places to look. The battery figures, by contrast, are consistent throughout: the listing's own bullet gives up to 35 hours without ANC, 23 hours with ANC and 200 hours standby, with no competing figure anywhere else in the advert. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing; we have not tested these headphones ourselves.

Questions people ask
Is the PuroQuiet Plus an in-ear or an on-ear headphone?
The listing title says "In Ear", but the specification table lists On Ear under Headphones Ear Placement, Headphone Form Factor and Earpiece Shape. On the advert's own more detailed fields, it is an on-ear headphone.
How long does the battery last?
The Puro Sound Labs listing states up to 35 hours of non-ANC playtime, 23 hours with ANC, and 200 hours of standby. There is no second, conflicting battery figure elsewhere in the advert.
Does it limit how loud the sound can go?
Yes. The listing gives a limited volume of 85 dB, described as the maximum safe listening level recommended by many organizations, applied through digital signal processing so listeners do not notice the limiting.
What is in the box?
Cable, headband, protective case and user manual, as listed. A USB-C cable is included for recharging.
How much does it cost and how is it rated?
The PuroQuiet Plus is listed at £95.00 and rated 4.2 out of 5 from 262 reviews. Amazon's own rating breakdown runs from a 70 share at five stars down to an 8 share at one star, against 7 at two stars, 5 at three and 10 at four.
What do buyers mention most often?
The reviews shown here concentrate on the volume limiting and the noise cancelling: one buyer describes the ANC working well on a long flight, another says the point of these headphones is that you can make sure they do not go too loud on your child's ears.
