Rank #3 in Best NAS Enclosure 2026: 10 Ranked, and Why the TB Maths Doesn't Add Up
UGREEN NASync DXP4800 Plus 4-Bay NAS, 10GbE
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The UGREEN NASync DXP4800 Plus is a four-bay desktop NAS, and it takes third place in this guide. It costs £525.99, carries a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 144 reviews, and its item highlight lists 8GB DDR5 RAM, one 10GbE port, two M.2 NVMe slots and a 4K HDMI output. The enclosure is aluminium and it weighs 6.57 kg.
The interesting part of this listing is internal. The bullet points promise "up to 144TB capacity". The specifications field gives a storage volume of 112TB. Both refer to the same four-bay chassis, so one works out at 36TB per bay and the other at 28TB per bay — a 32TB gap in the same advertisement. Neither figure identifies which drive it assumes, and the highlight says the unit ships diskless. What you can check without trusting either number is the four bays, the single 10GbE port and the two NVMe slots. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from testing we carried out.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“I absolutely love this NAS, it's the right mix of everything to make it extremly good value and useful to most people. The 10gb connection i'd say is the icing on the cake as without that it would make all the other nice hardware aspects technically pointless. The software is very easy to use but I decided to change it to UNRAID as I didn't like how it used the NVME SSD's. I'm still giving the whole package a 5 star review though as it's a well thought out piece of hardware. I see myself using it for a very long time.”
Verified purchase“These uGreen NAS are great, so much better and user friendly then things like synology NAS (which are well over priced). This NAS is not exactly cheap, but as so much functionality and is constantly having regular free update and more apps added.I would definitely recommend and would buy again”
