The ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 OC Edition is the card at number 8 in this guide, listed at £1,637.97 — £347.98 above the cheapest card in the round-up and £126.77 below the dearest. It is a 3.8-slot, four-fan design with a vapour chamber and a phase-change thermal pad on the GPU, and the bullets claim the quad-fan layout lifts airflow and pressure by up to 20%.

The numbers on this listing do not agree with each other. The spec table prints Memory Clock Speed as 30 MHz, which is what a 30 Gbps memory speed looks like once the unit is dropped, and the same table's Graphics Description field reads "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080, 16GB GDDR6, 2760 MHz Core Clock" while Graphics Ram Type on the same card says GDDR7. The GPU clock also appears twice at different values: 2790 MHz in OC mode in the bullets, 2760 MHz in the spec table. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from testing we carried out.

What buyers actually say

“absolutely brilliant card abit on the pricey side but i can see why, this card performs exceptionally well giving me crisp graphics and smooth framerates on most games over 400 this is one chonker of a card it's huge and weighs a ton 🤣 the cooling on it is brilliant a lot better than my old 3080 i thought the card would have been quite loud at workloads but the games i play don't ramp up the fans very high and i can barley hear it even tho it's on performance mode, you can get away with very little noise while gaming. the card itself looks amazing it's got a sleek look to it. i like the light bar along the side. i'd expect this for paying 1.6k for it which it comes with even better. the quad fan config really helps with evening out air pressure so the temps are alot cooler. all things aside this card is a beast and i highly recommend to anyone who's budget is quite high. 10/10 purchase i would purchase again if i could.”
