Rank #5 in Best RX 9070 XT Graphics Cards 2026: 10 Ranked by Price and Ratings
PowerColor Hellhound RX 9070 XT 16GB
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Powercolor Hellhound is the fifth card in this guide: a 16GB GDDR6 Radeon RX 9070 XT at £729.00, rated 4.6 out of 5 from 287 ratings. Every card in this set uses the same chip, so what separates this listing from the others is its price, its triple-fan cooler and that rating count. What its own page cannot agree on is units. The product bullet promises "16gb GDDR6 Memory clock @ 20 Gbps"; the specification table underneath says "Memory Clock Speed: 20 GHz". Same memory, same 20, two different unit labels on one page.
That sits inside a pattern that runs through the whole set. The Sapphire cards quote 2500MHz where this one quotes 20 GHz, and the Gigabytes quote 20000MHz — the same memory speed written three ways in the same field. Elsewhere on this listing the specification table gives a GPU clock of 2460 MHz and three fans, and there is a field labelled "Antenna Location" filled in as "Gaming", which tells you how carefully the table was put together. The star breakdown next to the 4.6 is stranger still: it totals 100 (84 five-star, 9 four-star, 1 three-star, 2 two-star, 4 one-star) while the same listing reports 287 ratings. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from testing we carried out.

An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.6 stars.

What buyers actually say

Verified purchase“Pros:-Breathtaking 1440p and 4K performance: Handles demanding modern titles effortlessly with buttery-high frame rates.-Whisper-quiet and cool: The triple-fan thermal solution keeps temperatures impressively low, even under heavy load.-Stunning build quality: Premium materials, a rigid metal backplate, and gorgeous lighting aesthetics that anchor a clean PC build.-Generous VRAM: The 16GB of GDDR6 memory gives plenty of headroom for future-proofing texture-heavy games and multitasking.Cons:- Single LED color: Locked to just one color option, which is a bit of a silly limitation if you like to change up your PC's color scheme!Review:Upgrading to the PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT has been an absolute game-changer for my setup. Right out of the box, the build quality feels substantial and premium—you can tell PowerColor put a lot of thought into the engineering. When it comes to performance, it completely blows away expectations, chewing through high-refresh-rate gaming without breaking a sweat. What surprised me the most is how quiet it runs. Even during extended gaming sessions, the cooling fans keep things ice-cold without sounding like a jet engine. Paired with 16GB of VRAM, I don't have to worry about turning down settings anytime soon.If you are looking for a top-tier card that delivers phenomenal frames, gorgeous aesthetics, and top-notch thermal performance, look no further. Easily a 5-star product!”
Verified purchase“Great product for the price if youre on an older system and need gpu upgrade. Bear in mind youll need top of the line CPU to utilise it fully in 1080p/2k as even 5900x does the same fps as 3070 in thsoe resolutions. If your on 3070/6700xt and up you might be better of upgrading your mobo and cpu to 7800x3d or 9800x3d and wait foe the next gen gpus or as rumored 9080xt/9090xt this gen.”
