Best Corner Sofa 2026: 10 Ranked, and Where the Specs Contradict Each Other

First place goes to the listing whose comfort numbers are the least ambiguous: 72 cm of seat depth and a 39 cm seat height, inside a sofa that stands 76 cm tall overall. As a corner sofa it is unusually low and unusually deep, and the 600 kg maximum weight it carries is shared across five seats. On the review side, 71% of its 112 ratings are five-star and another 17% are four-star.

The construction is where the money goes: high-density foam over individual pocket springs, wrapped in chenille, with every module detachable. The listing itself calls it an L shaped sofa and ships it in three boxes with no assembly at all, though you should allow 48 to 72 hours for the cushions to expand before judging the firmness. Total weight is 65.6 kg, so two people can move the sections.

However, the page contradicts itself in one place. The bullet selling 'Customisable Curved Modular Layouts' sits next to a spec field reading 'Is Customizable? No'. Either way, this is a plush, low sofa: if you want firm back support or a seat that is easy to rise from, the 39 cm seat height will not suit you.

Second place because it offers something almost nothing else here does at the price: reclining at both ends, a cupholder on each side and a 250 cm reclined length, all for £599. The seat depth is 52 cm, which is 20 cm shallower than the Vesgantti above it, so the recline is doing the comfort work here rather than the seat.

That said, the listing quotes a 'Minimum Required Door Width' of 230 cm on a sofa that is itself 230 cm wide. If that figure is literal, it says more about how the sofa is delivered than about your hallway. Worth noting too: 8% of its 107 ratings are one-star.

Crucially, this is the clearest case of a listing arguing with itself: it quotes a seat height of 52 cm inside a total height of 50 cm. One of those two figures is wrong, and a seat cannot be taller than the sofa it sits in.

What is consistent is the rest of it. A steel frame, double-layer cushions, three back cushions, two side pillows and a movable ottoman are all listed, and the covers are machine washable and tumble-dry safe, which is rare at this price. It ships in two sections plus the ottoman, at 60 kg total.

The catch is the shape. At 145 cm deep and 274 cm long it is the largest footprint in this top ten, and a U-shape only works against a long wall. If your room is close to square, this is not the one.

However, the ratings behind that 4.3 are thin and split: 22 in total, with 11% one-star and 6% three-star. That is a small sample, and not a tidy one. If you want evidence by volume, this is not the sofa that offers it.
